Hiking the Inca Trail in February will not be possible, this is the season where the Inca Trail is closed for the whole month, in order to do the cleaning of the route and the maintenance of the camping areas. The workers will be in charge of cleaning the roads, the ditches, the stairs, repairing bridges so that it is in optimal conditions for the month of March where this road is opened again for the world.
Machu Picchu is always open
The good thing is that Machupicchu is never closed, it is always open to the public all year round, passing through the Sacred Valley taking the train is recommended, and of course this month is the month with less people and less crowds.
