Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Pick up at the Airport

The day of arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco. Our team will be waiting for you and our transportation to take you to your hotel in Cusco. This day is for acclimatization and free time to rest or explore the city of Cusco on your own.

Day 2: Sacred Valley

Early breakfast at the hotel, then we can leave for our excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit emblematic places such as Chincheros, Moras, Salineras de Maras. Archaeological sites, its textile and handicraft markets with a stop in Urubamba to enjoy a traditional lunch buffet style, in the afternoon we will visit the archaeological group of Ollantaytambo, and the ancient Inca city, in the evening we will take the train Expedition Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

Early breakfast at the hotel, and then we will go up by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, we will have a two-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu to explore its temples, squares and iconic structures. These will be beautiful moments for photographs and memorable souvenirs.
Return by vistadome train > Ollantaytambo, bus to Cusco, and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Humantay Lagoon

Early departure (4 am) by transport to Soraypampa, after a rich and nutritious breakfast in Mollepata, we will begin the hike to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, surrounded by imposing mountains like the Salkantay, we will make several stops and small breaks to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and thus lead to the famous Humantay Lagoon.
Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain

Early departure by transport to Quiquijana where we will have breakfast and lunch at a restaurant on the route. The hike will be approximately four hours, arriving at the summit we will have some time for photographs and souvenirs, and we will return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 6: Return to the airport

Breakfast at the hotel.
Depending on the time of your flight, transfer to the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco for your departure.

For the second and third day of the tour we recommend carrying only the luggage necessary for the Sacred Valley + Machupicchu tour with an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes. Large backpacks with equipment that is not necessary for the expedition should be left in the city of Cusco, either at your hotel or at our main office.

Huayna Picchu is a mountain within the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, it is a 45 minute hike to the top.

To purchase this additional must notify us at least 2 months in advance due to high demand, schedules and details of your visit to this site will be confirmed in the previous meeting we will have.

Pre-trip meeting

The day before departure on the 5-day tour, a mandatory pre-trip briefing is scheduled at 6:00 pm at your Hotel in Cusco. You will meet with your guide, who will provide you with detailed information about your trek, a list of what you need to bring, rental equipment, or general questions.

How can I access Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu mountain?

To climb one of the two mountains, you must purchase the entrance ticket in advance. Huaynapicchu has an additional cost of 60 USD per person, and it is recommended to book tickets at least 3 months in advance. If you wish to book the entrance ticket for Huaynapicchu, please contact our reservations team, or you can also book on the official website of the Ministry of Culture at: https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe/. Please note that sometimes the website does not work, and sometimes it might be difficult or very complicated to buy your ticket online.
