Day 1: Arrival to Cusco – Transfer Airport > Hotel

* Upon arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in the city of Cusco, our team will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel. This day will be for acclimatization and free time to rest or explore the city of Cusco on your own.

Day 2: Sacred Valley

* After an early breakfast at the hotel we will start with the excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting emblematic places such as Chinchero and its textile and handicraft markets, where a group of women from the area will give us a textile demonstration and how the wool is obtained from sheep and alpacas, We will also explain how the dyes are made from natural herbs, of course we will visit its archaeological sites and colonial churches, in Moray we will be able to observe the great Inca agricultural laboratory, we will also visit the salt mines of Maras and its more than 3000 salt wells. We will have a stop in Urubamba to enjoy a traditional lunch (Buffet) then to finish the afternoon we will explore the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo, in the evening we will take the train Expedition Ollantaytambo > Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

* Early breakfast at the hotel, our ascent to the citadel of Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes will be by bus for approximately 25 minutes, for this our guide will provide us with tickets to Machu Picchu along with bus tickets, Together with the guide we will visit the Inca city in the circuit assigned to us, knowing the temples and palaces along with their Inca terraces, after visiting the wonder we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and a bus to Cusco.

Day 4: RainbowMountain

* Early in the morning we will depart to Quiquijana where we will have breakfast and lunch in a local restaurant. The hike will last approximately two hours up and two hours down. Once we reach the top of the mountain we will have time to enjoy the scenery, take pictures, the return to Cusco City will be in the afternoon.

Day 5: Return to the airport

* Breakfast at the hotel.
* Depending on the time of your flight, transfer to the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco for your departure.

On the second and third day, we recommend carrying only the luggage necessary for the Sacred Valley + Machupicchu tour, with an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes. Large backpacks with equipment that is not necessary for the expedition should be left in the city of Cusco, either at your hotel or at our main office.

1. Huayna Picchu

The cost of the ticket is $60 dollars per person.

Huayna Picchu is a mountain within the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, it is a 45 minute hike to the top.

To purchase this additional must notify us at least 2 months in advance due to high demand, schedules and details of your visit to this site will be confirmed in the previous meeting we will have.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that you take out travel insurance, if you become ill or injured while away from home, you can be reimbursed for treatment provided as a result of a covered medical emergency during your trip.

Pre-trip meeting

The day before departure on the 5-day tour, a mandatory pre-trip briefing is scheduled at 6:00 pm at your Hotel in Cusco. You will meet with your guide, who will provide you with detailed information about your trek, a list of what you need to bring, rental equipment, or general questions.

How can I access Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain?

To climb one of the two mountains, you must purchase the entrance ticket in advance. Huaynapicchu has an additional cost of 60 USD per person, and it is recommended to book tickets at least 3 months in advance. If you wish to book the entrance ticket for Huaynapicchu, please contact our reservations team or you can also book on the official website of the Ministry of Culture at: https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe/. Please note that sometimes the website does not work, and sometimes it might be difficult or very complicated to buy your ticket online.
