Our first stop will be in Ollantaytambo, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing our route. From there, we’ll embark on a 5-hour drive across the Andes, admiring breathtaking landscapes that range from snow-capped mountains to the lush high jungle, known as the cloud forest due to its humidity and mist. Along the way, we’ll pass through the Abra Málaga, a high mountain pass offering spectacular views, before descending to the village of Santa Teresa, where we’ll have lunch and rest before the hike. In the afternoon, we’ll begin a 3-hour hike to Llactapata, a small archaeological site that offers one of the most beautiful views of the entire journey.
