Upon your arrival at the Cuiabá airport, our team of guides will warmly welcome you and take you directly to the town of Poconé, a journey that takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From there, we’ll begin a fascinating trip along the famous Transpantaneira road, a route that cuts through the heart of the Pantanal. Along the way, we’ll make several strategic stops so you can enjoy and photograph the region’s incredible biodiversity.

During the drive, you’ll have the chance to see a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat, as the Pantanal is one of the richest ecosystems in the world in terms of wildlife. You’ll be able to spot mammals, reptiles, and an impressive number of exotic birds that inhabit the wetlands, rivers, and forests of the area. The road offers unique landscapes, and every stop will be a new opportunity to capture wild nature at its best.

Animals you may see along the way include:

• Mammals: Capybaras, anteaters, deer, tapirs, maned wolves, Pantanal cats, peccaries, monkeys, armadillos, and coatis.
• Reptiles: Caimans, anacondas, turtles, and lizards.
• Birds: Jabirus, toucans, macaws, savanna hawks, rheas, eagles, parrots, and many other fascinating birds that inhabit this magical place.

At the end of this exciting day, you’ll arrive at a lodge in Porto Jofre, where you’ll stay surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Pantanal — a perfect place to rest and get ready for the next stage of your adventure.

After a delicious breakfast, we will head to the Encontro das Águas Ecological Reserve, considered one of the best places in the world for jaguar watching in their natural habitat. This special place offers the opportunity to get close to these majestic felines in one of the most wildlife-rich ecosystems on the planet.

Over the course of three days, you’ll navigate along calm, wildlife-filled rivers such as the Cuiabá, Três Irmãos, and Piquiri, where the jaguar population is exceptionally dense. From the boat, you’ll have the chance to observe jaguars in various aspects of their daily life: hunting caimans, resting on the riverbanks, or interacting with their cubs. These moments are truly unforgettable and can be captured in stunning photographs that will forever remind you of this experience.

But jaguars aren’t the only animals you’ll see on this tour. The Pantanal is home to a wide variety of fascinating species, some of which are rarely seen elsewhere in the world. Here are some of the animals you may encounter:

• Giant otters: Agile, social predators that hunt in groups. Seeing them in the Pantanal is a spectacle in itself.
• Caimans: Impressive reptiles that rule the waters of the Pantanal. You may spot them sunbathing or gliding through the water.
• Capybaras: The largest rodents in the world. Peaceful by nature, they are often seen near the water.

At the end of each day, we’ll return to the lodge where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and review the best photos taken throughout the day, sharing your experiences with fellow tour participants.

After enjoying a final breakfast surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Pantanal, we’ll begin our journey back to Cuiabá. Along the way, we’ll once again travel along the famous Transpantaneira Highway, known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife sightings. The early morning hours are ideal for observing active animals, so keep your eyes open for new encounters.

On the road, you might once again spot capybaras, caimans, herons, toucans, and savanna hawks, which often appear along the roadside searching for food or basking in the sun. This is a great time to take some final photos, capturing the incredible biodiversity that makes the Pantanal such a unique destination. Every stop will offer another chance to admire nature in its purest form.

Halfway through the journey, we’ll stop for lunch at a lodge along the route, where you can relax and enjoy one last meal surrounded by nature. It’s a peaceful moment to reflect on all the experiences of the safari while savoring a delicious dish before continuing the trip.

After this break, we’ll resume our journey to Cuiabá, where our team will take you to the airport or your hotel, depending on your preference. This will be the time to say goodbye to the Pantanal, closing an unforgettable adventure that will remain in your memory.
