This exclusive 2-day tour takes you to the rivers and lakes of the Amazon rainforest, exploring the rich biodiversity of Tambopata. On the first day, you’ll transfer to the Lorenzo Lodge, deep in the jungle, and begin fishing on the Madre de Dios River, known for its unique species. Your sport fishing experience in the Peruvian Amazon begins with a pickup at Padre Aldamiz Airport in Puerto Maldonado or at the bus terminal. From there, we’ll head to the port to board a riverboat, starting a fascinating 45-minute journey along the Madre de Dios River to our destination: Lorenzo Lodge, an eco-friendly retreat deep in the jungle.
From the moment we begin the boat ride, sport fishing on the Madre de Dios River begins. Along the way, we’ll make strategic stops at key locations known for their rich aquatic life.
