The journey begins with your arrival in Iquitos, where we will pick you up at the airport or your hotel. The second day of our adventure begins very early, as the Amazônia comes to life at dawn. At 5:30 a.m., we will take a morning excursion to observe the jungle birds waking up. During this activity, we will hear the songs of various bird species such as parrots, macaws, and toucans, which greet the new day with their calls. It is a special moment to connect with nature and enjoy the landscape as the dawn light reflects off the rivers and trees.
After this experience, we will return to the Ecolodge for a nutritious breakfast, with fresh fruits, natural juices, and other typical regional foods.
Next, we will prepare for an intense day of fishing in the Amazon River, the largest and most powerful river in the world. We will transfer by boat to a strategic point, where we will have the opportunity to catch some of the most popular species among anglers, such as tucunaré, dorado, zúngaro, and piranha, among many others.
At noon, we will enjoy a lunch on board the boat, with a box lunch that includes a selection of regional dishes and a delicious Amazônian snack, with authentic jungle flavors.
After recharging our energy, we will continue fishing until 5:00 p.m., exploring different areas of the river to increase the chances of capturing more species. Finally, we will return to the Ecolodge, where a gourmet regional dinner awaits us to end the day with a delicious gastronomic experience.

Next, we will prepare for a new day of fishing, this time exploring the Nanay River, a river famous for its rich biodiversity. We will venture into its waters in search of various species, such as tucunaré, dorado, and other large fish that inhabit its depths. During this activity, we will navigate the Nanay River until we reach Padre Cocha lagoon, a beautiful body of water surrounded by vegetation, perfect for enjoying fishing in a calm and natural environment.
After a few hours of fishing, we will return to the Ecolodge for a well-deserved rest and enjoy a gourmet regional lunch, with typical dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients from the Amazon. This lunch will be an opportunity to relax and chat about the day’s adventures.
In the afternoon, we will head to Cocha Esmeralda, another wonderful lagoon known for its beauty and the variety of fish it holds. Here, we will continue our sport fishing with the possibility of catching surprising species while navigating the calm waters of the lagoon.
Next, we will move to the Momón River, where we will close this fishing day by exploring its waters full of life. It will be a day full of excitement, nature, and the possibility of capturing some of the most sought-after fish in the region.
