This tour is designed for those seeking much more than just a day of fishing. We’ll venture deep into the Amazon rainforest, exploring areas that few have had the chance to visit. It’s not just about catching fish — it’s about immersing yourself in a wild natural environment, where the flora and fauna put on an unmatched show.
Throughout the journey, we’ll visit major rivers in the region, such as the Tambopata River, the Madre de Dios River, and the Malinoski River, as well as streams, creeks, and little-explored lagoons. The variety of habitats in this area makes every day an exciting and unpredictable experience. Here, you can catch iconic species like the peacock bass, piraíba catfish, and golden catfish, among many others.
The expedition is crafted to offer you moments of pure connection with nature. As we sail through crystal-clear waters, we’ll encounter a wide variety of birds, monkeys, caimans, and even pink dolphins that inhabit these rivers. During breaks, we’ll listen to the sounds of the jungle, gaze at the majestic Amazonian sky, and unwind at a wilderness camp where every night becomes a magical experience under the stars.
This tour is not just for experienced anglers but for anyone who wants to experience the thrill of fishing in one of the world’s most fascinating ecosystems. If you’re ready to discover the Amazon in an authentic, exclusive, and adventure-filled way, join us and be amazed by the hidden treasures of Tambopata.
Important Note: In sport fishing, we catch the fish and then release them back into the water, as this is part of a conservation practice. After being caught, the fish are unhooked and returned to the water before suffering any injury or exhaustion.

This tour was designed for those looking to step off the beaten path and experience a more authentic connection with nature and Inca history. The hike to Llactapata follows an ancient network of Inca trails used centuries ago to connect Machu Picchu with the rest of the Empire. While it’s not part of the classic Inca Trail, this route offers an equally fascinating experience, with privileged views and fewer tourists. The journey begins with a hike along a trail used by Salkantay Trek travelers, but with adjusted schedules to enhance tranquility and immersion in the natural surroundings. Thanks to a partnership with a local family, we’ve improved the route to offer a more authentic and exclusive experience. One of the most magical moments of the tour happens at Llactapata, where you’ll get a unique panoramic view of Machu Picchu one day before visiting it. This is a special place, rich in history and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Andes. Finally, on the third day, we reach Machu Picchu, the jewel of the Inca civilization, where we’ll explore its astonishing architecture and the mysteries surrounding this world wonder. This journey is the perfect option for those seeking a different experience, away from the crowds and with a deeper connection to the Inca legacy.
The classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of the most famous treks in the world and the most popular in Peru. It can be done in two versions: a 2-day trek and a 4-day trek. For either option, a special permit called the “Inca Trail permit” is mandatory. Spots are very limited, so many people book their permits months in advance—sometimes even up to a year ahead. The general recommendation is to make a reservation 6 to 8 months in advance to secure a spot. The classic 2-day Inca Trail is the only route that allows you to visit Machu Picchu twice. One of the most iconic points of the trek is Inti Punku, also known as the “Sun Gate”, which offers a panoramic view of Machu Picchu before reaching the citadel. You’ll also pass through Wiñayhuayna, an impressive archaeological complex with agricultural terraces and Inca structures. Machu Picchu, the final destination of the route, is one of the wonders of the world and a symbol of the Inca Empire’s grandeur. Its temples, plazas, and terraces showcase the advanced engineering and profound astronomical knowledge of this civilization. To explore the citadel, there are different circuits that allow you to discover its most important structures. For more information about the different circuits within Machu Picchu, you can click here (Machu Picchu circuits).
