Our journey begins early in the morning. At 5:30 a.m., we depart from the city of Cusco on a comfortable bus. After a few hours of travel, we will arrive at the Sacred Valley, where we will have a delicious breakfast in the town of Ollantaytambo.
After breakfast, we continue our journey to Abra Málaga, a very high mountain at 4,316 meters above sea level. From there, the adventure begins: we will descend by bike along a road with beautiful landscapes, feeling the climate change as we go from the cold mountains to the warm high jungle.
Our destination is the town of Santa María, which is at 1,235 meters above sea level. There, we will have lunch and rest at an eco-lodge, a place surrounded by nature where we will spend the night.
In the afternoon, those who want more excitement can go rafting on the Vilcanota River, where they will feel like explorers challenging the waters.
In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and rest to prepare for the next day of adventures.

We will wake up early to enjoy a nutritious breakfast that will give us energy for the day’s hike.
After eating, we will start walking on trails surrounded by coca, coffee, and many tropical fruit plantations. As we move forward, we will see the original Inca Trail, a very old path that the Incas used hundreds of years ago to travel between their villages.
At noon, we will take a break to have lunch at a local family house. Here, in addition to tasting traditional food, we can rest for a while and recharge our energy.
In the afternoon, we will continue walking until we reach the Cocalmayo Hot Springs. This place is special because it has natural hot water pools, ideal for relaxing our muscles after so many hours of hiking. We will have enough time to enjoy the water and rest.
When we finish relaxing, we will take a transport that will take us to the town of Santa Teresa, where our hotel will be waiting for us to spend the night and enjoy a delicious dinner to recharge our energy.

Then, we will have two options:
- Option 1: Continue walking directly to Hidroeléctrica through a path surrounded by vegetation and beautiful landscapes.
- Option 2: For those seeking more adrenaline, you can go zip-lining (Zip Line). In this activity, we will slide down cables at high speed, feeling the thrill of flying over trees and mountains.
After the adventure, we will all meet in Hidroeléctrica, where we will take a break to have lunch in the village of San Gabriel. Here, in a local family house, we will enjoy homemade food and rest for a while.
In the afternoon, we will continue walking towards Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu. This last hike is easy-going and will allow us to enjoy the natural surroundings.
Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we will head to our hotel, where we can rest before the big visit to Machu Picchu. Before bed, we will enjoy a delicious dinner to recharge our energy.
The next day will be the most special of all: we will visit Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world. A unique experience that will be forever etched in our memory.

We will wake up early to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, ensuring that we have enough energy for this special day.
Then, we will get ready to go to Machu Picchu, the stunning Inca citadel. We have two options to get there:
- Hike up, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through a path surrounded by nature.
- Take the bus, which in 25 minutes will comfortably take us to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
Upon arriving at the entrance of the citadel, our guided tour will begin. For approximately 2 and a half hours, we will explore every corner of this magical place, learning about its history, temples, palaces, and agricultural terraces. Our guide will explain how the Incas built this wonder with astonishing precision, without the need for cement or modern tools.
After the tour, we will have some free time to take photos and absorb the special energy of this sacred site. For those who wish, they can hike up to strategic points like the Guardian’s House, where the classic panoramic view of Machu Picchu can be enjoyed.
Next, we will descend again to Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch and take a final walk around the town before boarding the train back to Cusco. The train ride will be the perfect moment to relax and recall all the incredible moments we experienced during this adventure.
