Tactical Meal Planning: Lunches are strategically scheduled to prioritize field time. Depending on wildlife activity, meals are served either at the lodge or as a Gourmet Lunchbox on board.

Not Included: Gratuities for specialized guides, professional drivers, and boat captains are not included in the tour expedition rate.

Industry Standard: While the amount is entirely at your discretion, the standard benchmark for high-end wildlife expeditions ranges between $20 and $40 USD per guest, per day, to be distributed among the field staff.

Mandatory Requirement: For safety reasons and high-standard expedition protocols, every participant must hold a comprehensive travel insurance policy. This coverage must include medical expenses and emergency evacuation/rescue for remote areas.

Independent Management: This insurance must be secured independently prior to your arrival in Brazil.

Operational Peace of Mind: Having this protection ensures that, in the event of any medical or logistical contingency, you receive immediate and professional attention. This allows you to maintain your focus exclusively on the wilderness experience of the Pantanal.

Equipment & Technical Coverage: Beyond mandatory medical insurance, we strongly recommend that your policy includes specific coverage for professional electronic and photographic gear. Given the technical nature of our expedition and the high value of the equipment involved, securing protection against accidental damage or loss is a prudent investment.

Logistical Safeguards: We also advise securing coverage for trip interruptions, flight delays, or cancellations. This ensures that your financial investment remains protected against unforeseen logistical contingencies outside the organization’s control.
